Brand: Johnson & Johnson
Target Audience: Parents of young children ages 0-2
The Project: The goal is to increase product awareness and encourage the target audience to buy the product by getting them to click through to download a coupon. A secondary goal is to get parents to visit the Johnson’s Baby website to learn more about the product.
My Approach: I crafted a message that would attract parents of young children using a friendly, sincere, and helpful tone that:
Clearly conveys the benefit to the consumer
Incorporates easy CTAs that distinctly direct them to the next step
This email promotional ad copy includes a Subject Line that is benefit-focused, a From Line that is relatable, and a Snippet that further emphasizes the subject line to reinforce an awesome benefit to the consumer. I started the copy by reminding parents of the warm, loving moments of parenting in an effort to capture their attention before offering an incentive to purchase with the $2 off CTA. I am careful to include short, concise sentences and bulleted formatting for a quick feature and benefit-focused promotional email ad.
